Our art workshops are in full swing this summer. The Joshua Clare Workshop, held in early June, was a wonderful experience for all the people who attended it. During the three day workshop, Josh covered different kind of subject matter each day. On the first day, the class went to a farm in Lowell and painted in the countryside. The second day they did a still life painting, and the third day they painted from a model for a portrait painting. In addition, Josh had the students paint four small, quick paintings each day, and each participant mentioned how much that activity made them grow.
Kathy Bechtel, art director, states, “Josh is a kind and patient workshop teacher and we are proud to have him on our lineup of workshops to offer.”
