Kathleen Kalinowski-The Autumn Landscape in pastel

October 5 @ 9 AM – October 6 @ 4 PM

A workshop for intermediate pastelists. An overview of mounting UART paper using a 12×16 landscape format. We will be working on one pastel painting, starting with composition, underpainting techniques, and tips for working loosely without overworking the colors. Emphasis will be on using your intuition in every step of the painting. The goals will be to increase confidence and to finish the painting by the end of the 2 day workshop.

Also, Participants may bring 2 paintings they would like critiqued.

A supply list will be emailed to you at registration.  Autumn photo references will be provided if needed.

A maximum of 10 participants.
