M. Joy Lemon-Scumbling and Glazing in Oil

Scumbling was traditionally used to paint light over dark with an opaque, broken application of paint in order to bring the lights forward visually and also build up interesting texture. Glazing was used to add darker value and color over lights. We will explore these 2 techniques.
